There are times I see,

many that mean nothing to me.

Away from my eyes,

my senses turn inward, the soul, thee.

All quiet here,

nothing to everything; I startle not.

Hot to cold, or cold to hot,

it matters not, you can complete me.

Comforting calm circles us now,

my hand to yours, the puzzle is finished.

But I cannot,  fuck the rules of grammar, I don’t care.

But I cannot, and this hurts me deep.

I’ve tried, many drafts,  many crumbled pages laid to waste.

Why will this not happen, my words ring deaf, dumb, destroyed.

The pain from this feeling you will never know, no one will ever know.

To write the most beautiful piece I’ve ever written is love.

But I cannot, I simply cannot.

Beauty with grace, tied together in a precious knot.

Has failure endured or do your eyes see no justice?

The answer, my fingers lay waste, an inadequate job I create.

But I cannot, but one day I will; you will see it, believe it, embrace it, and live it.

I found the beach again today.

It wasn’t hard to find.

I cheated, I’ve been here before.

A thousand times, maybe more.

 

It has been a few weeks since I last saw you.

Ah, I guess that is to be expected.

It may rain soon, why won’t you leave?

Ah, what does it matter?

 

This breeze is nice, I must say.

Easy to navigate, unless you are heading north.

Pardon me as I pass by.

I see you are back ole friend.

I must admit, I have missed thee.

My heart is a sheltered piece,

tucked far away from your grip.

Old wounds and scars dictate this;

try if you may, it shall not be uncovered

 

My heart is a wide open to all;

especially to you, please enjoy the view.

Time is short and life shorter.

No regrets, no excuses, my heart is yours.

On second thought, I’m not, but confused I am.

What to Read, I Need your Help

So I am looking for a new book or series to read, starting today. I am open to any and all suggestions. I finished the dark tower series last night with all 8 books read.

For the most part, there isn’t a style or genre of book that I don’t enjoy, but I would say I don’t care much for romantic novels especially the ones with Fabio on the front cover.

If you have any suggestions please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
